I've received a lot of questions regarding this website and why I spend so much time putting it together.

First of all, I love doing it; and secondly, I'm able to do it because I used a web host called Site Build It (SBI).

After months of procrastinating I finally took the plunge and set about putting my own Agatha Christie website together. The quality of the site and the ease with which I've been able to do it has surpassed my wildest expectations.

The web results will tell you that there are 167,404 web pages containing the phrase captain hastings and out of those 167,404 results, my captain hastings page is number 1, absolutely amazing. I'm also already in the top 10 listings for 'Jane Marple', 'The Man in the Brown Suit' and 'Tommy and Tuppence'.

Equally amazing is the fact that my website is already earning me a few dollars every day just by placing Google advertisements on various pages.

The Google advertising program(me) is called Adsense, it's completely free to join and really easy to set up on your website. Once you have, text ads appear on your site, you may have seen them while browsing this site.

Every time someone clicks an ad and visits one of the advertiser's sites, I earn revenue because Google pays me a share of what the advertisers pay them for that particular ad.

If you already have a web site but you're not using Adsense, what are you waiting for?

This really is a classic example of if I can do it, anybody can.

As you can see from the picture above, Agatha Christie said that 'Good advice is always certain to be ignored, but that's not reason not to give it.'
